Good that the parcl arrived safe. No to xmas she got not a new cock. The old is already handicapped, but he is simply the best. But I have a spare one here now, that one sques, in case the old one cant be used anymore. Don has almost his old weight. And he is a lot better now and this with in a week, Dana is a snow fan. She hates the rain and I was a bit worried how she copes with sno. Donni is absolutly wild with the snow and wants to be out the whole day (completely the opposite to the summer)
Dana is as wild as he is, running around, rolling around, digging and having lots of fun. I was throwing snow balls for Don, he loves it and he was running and trying to catch them. Dana was a bit confused wha Don is running up and down the whle time (she cant see the snow balls) and then she started to run with him, and had lots of fun. You wont recognize her again. !We love her so much and are so happy with her
Now I hope we get through new years eve without problems (she is very scared of thunder), I have her always on a long leash, not that she gets scared and runs away. Don did this once and he was running to the car and waiting there for me. Thank god, He gets now St Johns wort and is really relaxed with the fireworks. Dana will get some tomorrow as well.

Dana is absolutely find and simply the best. When Rainer and myself are at home with her (house and garden) you would never think that she had such a bad past, hardly sees and was so scared. Only when you can see it, is when she is in unknown area and unknown people are around her, then she is still scared and gets easily panics. She gets. I think it has to do with the fact, that she can't see. She gets insecure then, because she doens't know what is where. But is is very rare that we are somewhere unknown and that unknown people come to us. I will never understand that such people exist who can hurt such a wonderful little darling and im astonished every day that this wonderful and attached darling trusted us so quick and gives us so much love, because she sufferd so many years. She is so thankful and attached and this is so great. I'm really really proud on our little fluffy girl. Did I tell you from Danas cock ?
Dana discoverd one day Donniponys squeacky cock. She adopted him and runs the whole day with the cock through the house. He is with her in the garden and when she goes to bed, he goes with her. The vet thought that Donni is having maybe a pancreas tumor, this was avery hard week, we were so scared, he is only 6. Thank god it wasn't. But we still don't know what is wrong with him, He is hyperactiv, drinks 6 liter a day and is hungry all the time. He had so many examinations, but all turned out negativ. He lost 10 kg, now he gets special food from the vet that he gains weight again, he has 58 now, 5 more and he has his normal weight. Everything is great! Franzl is going now from his side as well to sleep with Schuhmann in one basket- I think the grgr was only that he was a bit scared of the bog black guy, but Schuhmann did his best - made ways around the little one and now Franzl already wants to play with him. The four are very harmonic with each other and fit well together. Franz is such an unbelievable nice dog! The limping is away, Fritz and Franz were playing like hell in the snow and maybe this was a bit too much.
Can you write me where I can get the green mussle extract, Klara Has problems since puppyhood and I would love to get it for her. She limps always when she overworked her legs.

From Hammi (Franz)
Since yesterday it is quit again, the excitment from the new is away and everything is in its used way. Franz helps the gang already in barking at the postman and barking at the neighbours when the shovel the snow Franzl (Hammi) is well, no diahrea, eats like he should, makes no fuss in the night and is a happy boy during the day.
Today Fritz and Franz (a match made in heaven) were already playing with a white shoe in the snow, I told them to take next time a coloured one because you can't find white ones easily in the snow.
They are very creativ and make lots of nonsense. he had bit of problems with his front paw, was limping a bit. He doesn't trust Schuhmann yet, but Schuhmann does everything that he doesn't look dangerous. Schuhmann is lying that he doesn't look so big and was very quit and well behaving. and he was resting his chinn on Franzl's back. The next day he didn't look at Franzl again, behaved as if he has been with us forever. Franz makes very silent grgr when Schuhmann walks past and then they are lying together in the dog bed. I think Schuhmann doesnt take Franzl serious. Fritz has to do a lot during the day, he licks daily Klaras and Franzls face (eyes, nose and ears) - if they want or not
Franzl#s fostermom is right, there is nothing bad in him, an absolutly friendly, nice, loving, good tempered guy and a big cuddler
With all my heart, I'm happy that he is our family member.

Now Dana is over half a year with us and you wouldn't recognize her. She is a happy, loving, curious big cuddler. She is absolutely settled in our family and it is like she has always been with us.
Only sometimes she is still a bit scared and her tail is always up, only down when something scares her, and then only outside and only for a few seconds. She knows we are there and she doesn't have to be scared. Dana's coat was already growing again and we get our fluffly back. You can pet her everywhere, brush her and she is absolutely relaxed. And Dana is snoring. Such a little dog is snoring so loud, this is really funny. Don is still not so well, maybe he has thyorid problems or diabetes. Is still a bit weak when he is standing. He gets now antibiotica to fight his lyme disease. In a few weeks they make a new blood test and hopefully the lyme disease is gone away. Stupid ticks. He wants to eat all the time, is hyperactive and can't relax. he lost weight and his coat is very thin. I can't tell him that this is wrong and I feel bad because he suffers. So I close my eyes when he does something what is wrong. When we know what is wrong with him, we can work on his behaviour again. I hope my Donnipony is coming back from alone. He is still nice and a big cuddler, but his constant barking and movements are very hard to take. Specialy the size and loudness doesn't make it easier. melanie still cross our fingers, don't forget! Dana and Don get on so well and are inseparable. Dana has seen a lot what Don is doing and is a lot more relaxed through this, I think it is the best for dogs who have gone through a lot and are that scared , that they have a strong and loving partner, who gives them safety and shows them how it works. (my comment I old her so, when she called for Dana) We are very happy that we did it and chose Dana as our family member. I have since a week a pneumonia and it really hit me away. One of our workers is ill as well and Rainer has the flue. Poor one has to be the whole day in the shop, we can't simply close it. I was only at the pharmacie, it is on the other side of the street, when i came back, dana had made a little lake next to the door. The poor girl she must have thought Donni was kidnapped. She was very confused and didn't know what s going on. The next time when Don was out alone she was much more relaxed, she knew now Don is coming back. Tonight I try to walk with them again. Hammi (now Franz) arrived safe and with lots of selfconfidence and won our hearts straight away with his vivid personality and friendlieness. We had no problems with him at all. Schuhmann plays with him like with a puppy, Klara was sitting in the living room and barking, so that we realize as well there is a new family member and fritz is more as happy about his new playing partner. Franz took the whole greeting without any complains. ALso the night was without any problems at all and very quit, all 4 were sleeping in the hallway together. All are settled now with the new situation and all is a lot more quit now. Franz already found the kitchen and the fridge. He makes a very fit expression and is unbelievable friendly. At the moment he is with fritz in the garden. I send you pictures in the next days.
Lots of greetings and have nice xmas days - as well for the people in Hungary. And again thank you for you and the fostermom and everybody, who did good things to Franz and took care of him
